Brenna Corner, Mezzo-Soprano
Brenna Corner is currently a student of the
University Of Manitoba Faculty Of Music, where last
year she sang excerpts of the Third Lady (Die
Zauberflöte). She spent part of the summer with the
Canadian Operatic Arts Academy singing excerpts
of Mistress Quickly (Falstaff) and Florence Pike in
Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring.
Before beginning her music studies, Brenna studied
theatre in Edmonton Alberta, and Oxford, England.
Some of her roles include: Juliet (Romeo and Juliet)
and Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) for
Theatre Prospero; and Mary (Maggie Now) for
Prosperous Paddies. Brenna has also worked as a
fight director for shows such as: King Lear (Theatre
Prospero) and After Juliet (ME Lazearte). Brenna is
thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful cast and
company.
